zendala dare 92

I was really excited by the zendala template that is on the Bright Owl this week. It has lovely lines and shapes in its 'relative' simplicity. And I was taken by the star shapes in it. I was inspired by those stars to choose one of my hand colored golden yellow zendala tiles. And after seeing the diva's challenge to leave white space - I knew the stars had to shine.

  5. I thought I had commented on this before. I like how you used the stars as the negative space. With your color combination and the tangles that you chose it really does make them stand out.

  6. Your tile is sooooooo pretty! Did you watercolor it beforehand? What did you use to get the beautiful yellow?

    Always have fun!

  13. Ooo! Beautiful warmth! You mentioned simplicity, and that's true...the simple template, but it's multi-faceted in your design of it. That was less eloquent than I had hoped that would come out :) beautiful tile :)
